Were the Westons to make their plans public... Written by Adrian (3/31/2008 2:45 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Chapter V - concealment, penned by Joan Ellen

...would they not be treading along the same path as Emma was with Harriet? The Westons' keeping their plans (or hopes) secret seemed the socially acceptable way to handle them, as it prevented Emma or Frank from being the subject of unnecessary gossip.
