Hi everyone.

I don't know whether I'll have much to contribute to this GR. I have not actually read the novel for a good few years. Also, I have a lot going on at the moment, so I'm not sure I'll be able to give the GR the focused attention it deserves.

If I may, I would like to read along with you all, and chip into the conversation if anything sensible occurs to me. That's probably rather selfish of me, but sometimes one has to be realistic!
