Personally I think JA..   Written by Reeba (3/19/2011 5:52 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, A "whole novel" theme, penned by Laraine
Are you new?

didn't really mind match making as long as it wasn't an interference with the feelings of the persons concerned, and if the reason behind it wasn't of a personal 'sense of triumph'.

I've come to this conclusion because of CH: 53;

"She would not acknowledge that it was with any view of making a match for her, hereafter, with either of Isabella's sons; "

JA seems to be laughing here at Emma's interests in match making, rather than diapproving it.
Since Emma has learned her lesson she would perhaps not repeat her past mistakes and attituded towards it.
