Dinner invites   Written by Bridget D (3/15/2011 10:52 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, You're probably both right, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

I never said (at least if I did it was a slip of the keys) that tehy'd never be invited to dinner.. I said just not often, it would be done as a kindness, not as a "regular thing"... Maybe at Christmas or if teh Knightleys had no other guests, and it was Harriet's birthday....

The John KNightleys invited Robert IIRC to go to Astleys with the children, (I think Astleys was a children's treat thing usually) and then after that, to dinner..
