Mr. Woodhouse hits his lowest point   Written by Ramya (3/14/2011 8:01 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Chapter 50 - Mr W, penned by Lisa Dalrymple
Are you new?

in the tale here. What an unbelievably selfish, insensitive old man! I am sorry, I know I must be angering some people here. :-p He doesn't even want his dearest daughter to be married and have children of her own! He wants to be her child for the rest of his life, and he doesn't even bother to consider what will happen to her after he dies.

Granted, Mr. Woodhouse has never yet been able to prevent anyone from getting married, and yet, he seems extra upset at Emma's marrying that either Miss Taylor or Isabella, even though, as Emma puts it, she won't even be moving out of Hartfield!

Now, Jeffrey, make room for me behind that plant. ;-)
