The end of Chapter 27 Written by andrea gayle (3/13/2011 12:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Jane's apples, penned by Bridget D

During Miss Bates long monologue, she mentions that she and Jane had almost quarreled over the apples because Jane was distressed and wished that Miss Bates had pretended that they 'had a great many left'.
