without getting dangerously into "Austenuations" territory and spoilers, can I predict we will find an improvement in Jane Fairfax's guarded/retiring/closed temperament in the concluding chapters?

Also, looking at this list of opposites, it is also encouraging that Miss Austen often describes how the temperament or disposition of one or the other of the happy couples undergoes an obvious improvement (IE: S&S, P&P). So, is it a truism that opposites attract and in a marriage of opposites, is it not often true that opposites compliment each other and support each other's weaknesses?
