Are you new?

like you have been reading Black Beauty when he gets colic from Joe putting him away badly. That isn't being lame. Lameness in spring is often from hoof infections, but when we are talking about going about the countryside not on roads we have holes and other problems or pebbles that poke in the wrong place. There is no guessing what lamed the horse in question, but I like your ideas of it being the Westons'.
