Are you new?

That would be a difficult task as we are not shown characters in other books dealing with anyone from Robert Martin's class. So how they would have reacted in a similar situation is only to be conjectured, though we do know about ANN calling the late wife of their cousin as low.

I think what Bridget meant was that the children are conscious of this as they may see their families attitude, as we see with Darcy.....but Emma's is a complete new situation because we know that her father isn't like that and also the others in her circle.

I blame the novels which she read/half read ;-)
