Snobbery   Written by Bridget D (3/2/2011 3:09 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Source of Snobbery, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

There is no need for Emma to have "learned her snobbery" anywhere. She is just the same as 90% or more of her class. Mr Knightley may mix more with lower class poeple becuase of hte nature of hsi work as squire, and becuase of that he is willing to socialise wiht them a bit more, but it is all relative. He still does not see the Coles or much more the Martins as his social equals. if he had a daughter, you can bet if she wanted to marry Robert M, he'd take steps to stop it.
