I'm sorta on that same wave length as well....   Written by jeffrey (3/2/2011 8:40 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Augusta and her clergyman, penned by Lisa Dalrymple
Are you new?

Although Mrs. Elton arrives like a social storm trooper I really feel deep down that she is good person and that she is sincerely trying to help and fit in. Perhaps she is trying too hard but I really think her presence and her ideas about how to improve the society in and around Highbury might be a good thing after all. I'm curious as to how the Eltons will finally settle out in later chapters.
