Baby-sitting Mr Woodhouse again - I had forgotten. Well, that would certainly explain why she did not reprove Emma. Mr Knightley still might have mentioned the possible reflection upon her - I wonder if she will find out about the incident, since I can imagine Mrs Elton telling her about it with many an assurance that she is sure Mrs Weston did not bring Emma up to be so rude.
