Mrs. Elton certainly knows how to carry a conversation! ;-) This part always cracks me up. I imagine this as a list of topics, on which she rambles on and on...maybe a couple of the others try to throw in a comment or two but I'm sure they're drowned out by Mrs. Elton! I know someone like this. When they talk I try to respond and they keep going...usually it takes me two or three attempts before they realize I've said anything! (I doubt with Mrs. Elton she would ever realize I was talking).
