Reminds one of Elizabeth's reaction to Pemberly (P&P, ch.43) which Lizzy regards as having "less of splendour, and more real elegance, than the furniture of Rosings." So I see Emma vs. Augusta (and veteran members will recall my opinion of Emma :-).
