I Beg to Disagree about Emma's Questions   Written by Jane Marie (2/22/2011 5:52 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, So, I look up every early reference I can find to Jane, ..., penned by gianni
Are you new?

If Emma were quilty, then I am guilty as well. I was assigned a new supervisor who transferred from another office.

I did not know the supervisor, however, I knew people who had worked with him at various times. So, I asked them what they thought about him, and about his background.

After his arrival, I sat down with him in his office and found that he knew about me, referring to my reputation. (I'll leave it to the reader to decide good or bad.)

Perhaps it happens less often in a larger city or organization, but I think when you there is an introduction in a closed society, such as a small town, Highbury, or my office, people ask questions.
