Here comes the rampaging Mrs. Elton on a mission to become Highbury's control freak.

What's so much fun about Mrs. Elton is the fact that everyone of us has encountered a contemporary Mrs. Elton, have we not? Like Miss Bates, it is Jane Austen at her brilliant best to bring forth such a flesh-and-blood real-life character that just jumps off the pages at us with force and vitality.

Things may not always be "proper" with Mrs. E.(much to Emma's chagrin) but they are never dull.

And, poor Mr. Elton learns that a hasty marriage with the fortune he sought brings forth unintended consquences. Don your helmets and Let the fun begin....
