ourselves, if we can admit to having them! I think Mrs Elton is a great character who adds some additional spice to the mixture. Jane is reserved (which is fine with me, as it is a trait I share with the character), the Westons are wonderful people but IMO without spice, Harriet lacks seasoning as well and is on the bland side, Mrs and Miss Bates are sweet, etc.
