A wonderful collection...   Written by Reeba (2/17/2011 3:32 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Love and matchmaking, penned by Nina RG
Are you new?

of not only the romntic link ups, but also the Highbury gossip.

You have covered everything till now, and there's really no one left, I think.

So I can only add the comments of two people regarding this subject of marriage;

Mr. Wooshouse - "he lamented that young people would be in such a hurry to marry -- and to marry strangers too.."

Miss Bates - Quite carried away with the idea of another wedding and a new neighbour.
"Now, here will be Mr. Elton and Miss Hawkins; and there are the Coles, such very good people; and the Perrys -- I suppose there never was a happier or a better couple than Mr. and Mrs. Perry. I say, sir," turning to Mr. Woodhouse, "I think there are few places with such society as Highbury.

I'm surprised Mr Woodhouse didn't start his lamentations again on hearing Miss Bates' list. :-D
