Good point   Written by Erica M. (2/15/2011 8:11 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I am sure I had much rather hear you., penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

I agree, Emma is often aware that Harriet's praise of herself isn't always accurate (not quite the word I'm looking for but I've lost my eloquence to my need for dinner!). However, I still think that lends a level of irony to her dismissal of Harriet's good opinion of others.

This taste thing has always puzzled me too, especially growing up hearing the words "taste is subjective". I look forward to hearing from our resident experts as well. :-)
