Yes, there is another similarity in Emma Woodhouse's and Frank Churchill's situations: neither of them are in households that would be pleased if they were to wed! Mr. Woodhouse's views on the evils that matrimonial change bring, and Mrs. Churchill's apparent wish to control Frank's movements and independence both boil down to a desire that neither young person will not go off and find happiness away from their own selves.
