in consequence of the missive, Darlings of Enscombe & Hartfield, penned by Robbin
In the case of Jane Fairfax, she begins to weave a story of unrequited(?) love as the reason for Jane's return to the bosom of her biological family, while ignoring other possibilities. And her fantasy about Frank Churchill as a potential husband is interesting as she has never met him -- this seems more like the fantasy of a teenage girl with a crush on a rock star, with the exception that Emma actually has a chance of meeting him someday. But at the same time she is ignoring the flesh and blood man that has been a part of her life since her birth, and could be a potential husband -- Mr Knightley. But Mr Knightley doesn't play into Emma's fantasy world, as he is very realistic and blunt, and perhaps she just knows him too well to even consider the possibility.
