This discussion really makes me want to read the book from the beginning again and concentrate on Mr. Woodhouse. I'm just a casual reader and certainly no expert on Emma or Jane Austen. I'm a newcomer to Pemberley, you see, so the chances of my being wrong are pretty good. Still, I wonder....
