Are you new?

being on the marriage makret with no dowry is not likely to win her a husbnad. She's had 3 years or so of being out in society, and Miss Campbell has cuaght a husband while she hasnt. so I'd say that she's right in thinking that she should grit her teeth and start to earn her own living since it seems inevtiable that she will ahve to do so...
