"...a happy disposition", because to me it makes all the negativity in her behaviour undeliberate, not mean or unkind, but solely directed by misguided thoughts and fancies about being the one who knows best.

I would also add that in addition to being kind to her father, she's also kind to, and full of compassion for the poor and sick.
I'm sure *they* must like her a lot too!!

So I would say, in short;
