Having Much His Way   Written by Jane Marie (2/3/2011 7:49 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I like John Knightly as well. He seems very human to, penned by AnnetteJ
Are you new?

Although highly intelligent and practical, Mr. Woodhouse is able to draw John Knightly into a nonsensical argument.

I thought maybe John Knightly is not used to opposition except perhaps in his law practice where the better argument wins out.

Sometimes after I've argued with a child over something trivial, I've laughed for having wasted a moment over something that does not matter. I wonder whether John Knightly can laugh at himself.
