as a husband for Harriet look even more foolish than it all ready is -- even if Emma doesn't know Robert Martin, she knows that Mr Knighly does, and she could have asked him about the man's character. But, ofcourse, Emma would never do that, as she has been petted and spoiled by everyone but Mr Knightly.
