Just remembered another very important point.   Written by Reeba (2/1/2011 4:59 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, No, she isn't. :), penned by Reeba
Are you new?

CH:8

"Robert Martin would never have proceeded so far, if he had not felt persuaded of her not being disinclined to him. I know him well. He has too much real feeling to address any woman on the hap-hazard of selfish passion"

Harriet is quite the heart breaker. :)
She seemed to have encouraged Robert Martin.

IIRC every description of Harriet is actually what Emma thinks of her.
We don't hear much from Harriet directly either to find out about her, till that conversation about Emma not marrying.
