A cinquain is a five-line poem often described as follows:
Line one contains one noun.
Line two contains two adjectives that describe line one.
Line three contains three verbs that relate to line one
Line four contains four words that describe “feelings” relating to line one. Often it is a full sentence.
Line five contains a synonym of line one, or a word that sums up the poem.
Other variations are accepted, but please stay within the general form.
