The joys of rereading Written by Frances G (1/31/2011 11:21 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I love this scene, penned by Laraine

I didn't recall this scene from previous reads, probably because it didn't move the plot significantly forward. After Emma & Mr. Knightley make up, the rest of the chapter is all character development.

But I spent a lot of time on it in this week's reading and found it delightful. It was really entertainin to watch how Emma & Mr. K tried to keep the conversation positive. It's like they made a pact beforehand.
