Yes, I'm just going to point out some hypocrisy on our heroine's part.

If we're to believe Mr Knightley's "Emma has been meaning to read more ever since she was twelve years old" speech in chapter 5, then Emma has been putting off her reading for years, but as far as we're told, she doesn't suffer any pangs for criticising Mr Martin for putting off his for-- how long? A week?

(Pots, kettles, glass houses, stones, splinters, planks, grumble, mutter, fulminate.)
