Worser and Worser

The fact that Emma knows that Mr. Martin is intelligent and respectable and she goes ahead and demeans him anyway makes it all the worse in my opinion. There can never be an excuse to do this kind of thing I feel. There is class division and acting within one's society and that's one thing but human to human interaction (strangers or otherwise) is another thing. If the king of England were to see a peasant and demean him unjustly it would still be just as inexcusable. One human being acting unjustly to another---how can you ever be doing right/good to that person?
