It does show up Emma's thoughts. She's highly flattered, and her conceit is being fed.

Exactly what I have been saying about Emma's POV regarding Harriet.
But someone is definitely materialistic here, and I doubt it's Emma.

The list of the possessions of the Martins was related to Emma by Harriet before Emma was put on guard (if one is to go by the chronological order of the passage in Ch4)
Harriet's stories amuse Emma, and I think this list is amusing her.
