Please cite the chapter   Written by Laraine (1/27/2011 12:37 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Questions raised about Mrs. Weston, penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

Please make sure that you cite the chapter that you are quoting from. I know that we lost the guidelines in the recent server failure, but we've asked for this citation in group reads for some time.

With regard to Mrs. Weston's title, I don't think that anyone would have worried much about a title change in Mrs. Weston's position. She was probably regarded as the former governess.

"It is the fault of her face that she has them not" means that Harriet's face would look better if she did have the eyebrows that Emma gave her, rather than the ones that she was born with. Fault doesn't imply blame here, it implies lack, as in a faulty creation.
