I agree with you Laraine Written by Jean B (1/26/2011 11:41 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, It does seem rather mean, penned by Laraine

I believe he does not want her hurt, only to become more wiser about all of the emotions of love. He see that her course of action could hurt those involved and he is uncomfortable with her belief in her own "talents" to match people (whether, of course they want the help or not).
