No companion for her   Written by Stephanie (1/26/2011 9:15 a.m.)
Are you new?

Emma seems to understand (possibly because of seeing her sister married) that Miss Taylor moving away will diminish her own importance to her. This is a surprisingly mature outlook for someone whom we have hints of showing a decided wish for being the center of attention. It makes me like Emma more, when I see hints like this. It is slightly spoiled by Emma choosing a friend to whom she can again be everything, the first and the first most. Is this a forgivable flaw in Emma to everyone else? Or is it starting down a path that can go either way and we have to read and see?
