My aunt may have her faults, but practising witchcraft is not one of them. Indeed, if she were capable of it my betrothed, Miss Elizabeth Bennet, would probably now be a frog hopping about a prettyish kind of wilderness in the gardens at Longbourn instead of a young lady who routed my aunt completely in a confrontation over Lady Catherine's plans for my future. I might well be a frog myself, hopping about my house in town, after refusing to comply with the said plans. I advise you not to slander people, whether it be my Aunt Catherine or, I suspect, this Mr Potter as well as Messrs Gryffindor and Dumbledore. I have heard of Mr Potter as a courageous and honourable youth, so I assume he has some good reason for this alleged robbery. My darling, that is to say Miss Elizabeth, is right - you are in danger of coming to a bad end if you persist in this behaviour.
