Whenever one seeks public acclaim, one must be prepared for rejection but not overwhelmed by it. How many of us have sought to impress, only to "get the hook" as you have. Indeed, I was all set to perform the part of the Baron in Lover's Vows, but alas I had to give way to Lord Ravenclaw; and then the play was canceled altogether over some trifling matter.

Fortunately, I have found another venue in which to perform, with top notch performers--other than poor Rushworth, that is. Perhaps you may find your way to fame in another venue as well, perhaps a school production.
