I agree that there's a similarity in Emma and Frank Churchill. They've been spoilt and cradled "children of good fortune", never knowing what it is to be deprived of any major pleasure, with outgoing, open and slightly vain personalities. Still they have sense and good principles in theory, and most of all share (as Emma herlsef puts it) a "likeness in our destiny, the destiny which bids fair to connect us with two characters so much superior to our own."
This is strengthened by the fact that each of their mates, Mr Knightley and Jane Fairfax, have a resemblence of their own, so much so that Mrs Weston once planned a match between them.
And then they're all one big happy family. Since Mrs Weston was like Emma's mother, Frank is something like her brother, and little Anna Weston's; and Jane like Mr and Mrs Weston's "daughter, an eldest daughter"; and so is Isabella, which also means John Knightley; (though Mrs Weston secretly plans a match between one of their sons and Anna) and we can't forget Mr George Kinghtley, since he's marrying Emma, which is cute since he's promised to look after Anna like he did with her, (except for falling in love with her when she is thirteen.)
