But you seem to indicate that his age negates what I said? I don't think so. I think that a two year old is very aware of being taken from his father soon after his mother dies. It might be easier to go through this at two than at twelve, but a child of two certainly does feel such a loss--and especially if Mrs Churchill was too selfish to be affectionate and loving to him, I think it follows that it affected his personality as much as being a complete orphan would have.
