No but she does think herself above everyone in Highbury, and that most of its inhabitants were "vulgar" and she disliked associating with teh "second and third sets" of Highbury society, such as Miss Bates' visitors. She was snobbish, and since her governess and her father thought of her as "perfect", she did not get much correction when she was in the wrong.
