My favourite adaptation.   Written by Reeba (3/4/2013 3:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Emma1 Viewed at last, penned by StephenB
Are you new?

I like your review as expressed in points a-n. I think the same.

We do have different views on other points though.
The chemistry was great between Emma and Mr Knightley IMO. Sarah has expressed some of them, and I would mention the scissors scene. They looked so comfortable together, and one could agree with Emma when she talks about how he, Mr Knightley, wouldn't be able to come to Hartfield and sit in this manner with them.

I agree with the missing 'badly done', and the manner in which he delivers the 'brother and sister' line was wonderful too.
The greatest thing about this Mr Knightley is that he has the right kind of Brusqueness. No other Mr Knightley possesses this.

I even liked this Emma. You've made me want to watch this again. Thank you :-)
