Our User Names
Below is a partial list of the names and nick names already in use here. If yours is missing, post an introductory message on the Newcomers board. (It might take as long as two weeks before a new name will appear. The list is not updated automatically, but manually.)
We do prefer that people use something like their real names here, and not anonymous aliases. We find that this creates a greater sense of accountability on the part of our posters. The theory is: If you want to say something that you feel you can not sign your name to, perhaps it would best be left unsaid. But we are a very friendly community, and we find we very rarely have problems of this kind--we are a polite haven away from the rest of the world.
